Made available to the victims of disasters, Heo is based on the idea of collective intelligence.
It gathers information from diverse sources and media - online news outlets, radio broadcasts, social media posts, and scientific data repositories about the catastrophe – Heo then transmits it to individuals and alerts people in their homes using colored lights that flash to reflect the relative importance of the notification.
Project developed for the “Fukushima my love” exhibition in Milano with the aim to question the reappropriation of information by the population during a natural disaster. A means of communication, to create links within the affected population.
